This is a cat i had many years ago, hence the black and white photograph. I was studying to become a brain surgeon so Surgery seemed like the perfect cat name at the time. He was a very talkative cat and we used to have many conversations late into the night. I'm not sure what ever became of old Surgery though. One day he quit talking and a week later he left with no explanation. I often think that he left because our conversations were not intellectually stimulating enough for him, it makes me sad. I have seen pictures of a similar cat on a farm in Kansas. I like to imagine that Surgery moved to that farm in Kansas to perform surgery on other farm animals. If that is the case then I am glad he left. The farm animals need him more than i do.
