Shy guy

I don't know this particular cats name. It was not very playful. I gave him a fish in exchange for a few photographs. I like that the cat is blurry in all the pictures. It shows how quick cats can be. What an evening!

sunbeam's dream

Sunbeam is known for her crazy dreams. As a kitten she often dreamed of food or hunting but as she grew into a full grown lioness things changed. Her dreams became heavily influenced by catnip and she would do crazy things. One day i came home from a long shift and i found her in my dryer. Somehow she managed to turn the dryer on and she ran along inside much like a hamster in its wheel. I was very impressed but also very worried. Then about a week later she told me she no longer liked cats and ran away with a dog. I was heartbroken to say the least. Sunbeam I Miss you and your crazy dreams. Come on home you crazy cat.

sunbeam

Cats are cute little rays of sunshine. That is why this particular chat is named sunbeam.

Mark Gonzales

The cat in these pictures is named Mark Gonzales. He is an excellent hunter. Note his textbook prowling technique in the first photo. He stalked this particular chipmunk for two days without it noticing. He is however a vegetarian he only hunts for sport. As soon as he draws blood the game is over. I commend him for this. It brings joy to the little animals as well. In the last photo the chipmunk almost looks sad that their friendship has come to an end. Don't worry though they will be reunited soon enough Marky Gonzo always comes back to play with old friends.

Surgery

This is a cat i had many years ago, hence the black and white photograph. I was studying to become a brain surgeon so Surgery seemed like the perfect cat name at the time. He was a very talkative cat and we used to have many conversations late into the night. I'm not sure what ever became of old Surgery though. One day he quit talking and a week later he left with no explanation. I often think that he left because our conversations were not intellectually stimulating enough for him, it makes me sad. I have seen pictures of a similar cat on a farm in Kansas. I like to imagine that Surgery moved to that farm in Kansas to perform surgery on other farm animals. If that is the case then I am glad he left. The farm animals need him more than i do.
